Loved the 'grand' hotel toilets! They were amazing! Snake/lizzard tiled basins...Never seen any toilets like that in my life. The hotel was lovely and clean and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Quite relaxed and friendly. Would recommend.
The hotel location was alittle far out of town, which we weren't expecting and we probably won't have found it if we didn't have a sat nav. It was very secluded but grounds were lovely and staff were very plesant and friendly.Would have been nice to have a pool!
We had dinner the night of our stay and it was delicious - the staff were extremely courteous and friendly and our overall experience of this hotel was very good
The mattress was a little hard for my liking and the breakfast could have been better
Not a good trip, would not stay their again
We arrived on Wednesday 15th June at mid day, staying for one night and departed at 11.00am on the Thursday morning. The level of service was poor in the restaurant, we had a table booked for 8.00pm, we arrived in the restaurant on time approached a young waitress, told her of our booking, however she didn't seem to understand what we were saying and wandered off. A waiter who was dealing with another table spotted what was happening came over and dealt with the issue. The choice on your menu is limited and very expensive for what it was, there are some things that just don't go together - chicken and butterscotch ? Breakfast was no improvement we were both hoping for better things however we were again disappointed especially as there were only about 12 to 14 in the dining room at the time. We were both served with food that had been sitting around for some time. The beans and mushrooms had dried out, the bacon was stuck together as the fat had congealed between the rashers. The sausages were only cooked on one side, the other side was white and just off raw, so inedible. the fried egg was under cooked so a replacement was requested, which, we never received. We asked for some brown sauce which also never arrived. We commented to the waiter that it was the worst breakfast we have ever had but he didn't seem that interested. A waitress tried to pour coffee into a cup that I had previously had had tea in, we had to stop her and ask for a clean cup. Frankly it was farcical.
Although it was close to a main road it was right in the countryside. The room was spacious and clean and the restaurant staff and manager were very friendly. On the friday evening there was a special Pizza menu at agreat price for all plus a special on the wine. Very affordable for everyone.Breakfast was varied and ample although not piping hot. Overall would recommend a stay there.
Extremely courteous & pleasant staff. Excellent breakfasts and excellent location for my purposes. Good parking facilities, too.
Absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
The location was good and the staff were very freindly.
The room I was placed in was like an engine room with constant background noise from the hotel ducting system. It actually woke me during the night. The food was reasonable but not exceptional with some elements of menu's missing.
Comfort Hotel and in a good location for visiting our son and his family in Uxbridge
Restaurant Evening Service is very poor we have stayed there three times and had a bad experience on each occasion - food orders wrong or inedible - always when there are more than two people The chef cannot cope if he is given and order for more than two people. Food very expensive. We have complained to the hotel direct. Would recommend eating elsewhere
Large, comfortable room and bed with modern, clean bathroom. The hotel is in a relatively peaceful location yet accessible to Heathrow and central London.
Everything. What a great and friendly staff. Food was perfect as well. Good environment, parking etc.
The staff were all very friendly and the room was very spacious and had a luxurious feel. The breakfast was also very good and seemed to be cooked to order
quiet, unhurried free parking free internet
uncomfortable chairs in room
It was convenient for attending a wedding at Pinewood Studios. The breakfast was good.
One of our party had asked reception to book taxis home for us from Pinewood Studios and the taxis did not turn up. We are not sure if they had been booked as promised.
I started using the Pinewood during my previous job. It's a very nice hotel but it's lost a bit.
It could do with a bit more luxury feel as it used to be. it's gone down a bit since I started using it a while ago.
Good morning The staff were really friendly and very helpful. The room was a bit tired and also there was a really bad wet patch outside the bathroom wall. Both being nearly 6 ft in height my husband and I hit the roof a few times. Food was good and service good but I dont really think it was good value for money
The hotel is located right in the forest, that makes it very warm, natural and charming
The furniture in the rooms is a bit old for the price of the room.
